Team coaching is a relatively new concept in the workplace (Britton, 2013; Clutterbuck, 2014; Hackman & Wageman, 2005; Hawkins, 2011). It has been defined as ‘a learning intervention designed to increase collective capability and performance of a group or team, through application of the coaching principles of assisted reflection, analysis, and motivation for change’ (Clutterbuck, 2014, p. 271).
