So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As we have shown, all variables in Python are references to objects, even in the case of basic types such as integers. This thorough approach to object orientation is a strong theme in Python and practically everything in Python is an object, including functions and modules.
