Sprint Planning Anti-Patterns

Introduction

Sprint Planning is the event where Scrum Teams form and choose hypotheses for enhancing their customers’ experiences and create a plan for the work they must complete to create an Increment to test these hypotheses. Learn how to improve its effectiveness by avoiding common anti-patterns, from ignoring technical debt to working on random stuff to optimizing for team member utilization; see Figure 6.1.
