20. Applications
As with source code correlation, there are many potential applications for object code correlation and source/object code correlation, in particular when there is no access to one party’s source code but only the object code. There are certain times when source code is rarely available or never available. At these times, source/object code correlation or object code correlation is useful. Following is a list of some applications for which object code correlation or source/object code correlation is particularly useful. I describe these applications in more detail in the sections that follow.
