ONGOING OPM MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING
6.1 INTRODUCTION
This section addresses how the organization can ensure that the organizational project management (OPM) initiative successfully realizes the planned benefits and that the benefits are sustained after the implementation program is completed. It also discusses (a) how long-term monitoring of the implemented OPM system is performed to ensure that it continues to deliver benefits and (b) how to continue to improve the OPM system. The monitoring of the implementation program itself is not addressed as it is covered in The Standard for Program Management [5].
