I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

- UI notifications
Notification and window.notifications[271] APIs allow the creation of text-only or HTML-based, always-on-top pop-ups in the corner of the screen, allowing select web applications to gently notify users of important developments (such as a new mail message). User consent to receiving notifications is required on a per-site basis, limiting the risk of abuse. Nevertheless, care must be taken to properly communicate the origin of the tiny notification window and any dialogs or prompts it subsequently creates, an aspect that took some time to refine. The API is available only in WebKit today.
