Playing Skylanders Trap Team can be as simple as buying a starter pack for your console or device and playing through to the end with it, or as expansive as you like by collecting all of the adventure packs, Skylander character toys, traps, and accessories (see Figure 2.1). There’s a treasure trove of fun within the game itself, including mini-puzzles, arena and doom challenges, villains to capture, trinkets and achievements to collect, and new locations to explore. Let’s begin by looking at how to get started and what to expect from your new Skylanders Trap Team game.
