A. Portal Master Rankings
In previous Skylanders games, the Portal Master Rank didn’t contribute too much to your gameplay, aside from unlocking new rewards as you leveled up. In SuperChargers, increasing your Portal Master Rank actually gives you some pretty nifty benefits.
To rank up (see Figure A.1), you’ll need to collect stardust. Essentially the more you play, and the higher your skill becomes, the more stardust you’ll earn throughout the game. Stardust might be earned during story chapter mode or at Skylanders Academy as a reward for completing challenges and races, opening treasure chests, smashing piñatas and objects, completing quests, and earning emblems.
