There are 7 categories of NXT-G programming blocks and 34 types of standard programming blocks. Although Part III discusses most of these blocks, this appendix gathers the basic facts about each one for easy reference. Table B-1 lists and describes the seven block categories. Table B-2 through Table B-7 correspond to the first six categories and list the names, data hub characteristics, and functions of their respective blocks along with images of the blocks in their default configurations. I do not present a table for the seventh category, Custom blocks, because there are no standard blocks in this category.
