UNIX Monitor
Even though Toad is a Microsoft Windows–based tool, many DBAs and developers have to work with Oracle databases running on UNIX or Linux. In those cases the Toad user might want to monitor not just the database itself, but the operating system hosting it. Therefore, Toad offers a simple but effective UNIX Monitor screen for just that purpose. It’s not a great UNIX monitor, but it beats not having one at all.
To launch the UNIX Monitor, choose Main Menu → Database → Monitor → UNIX Monitor. The screen shown in Figure 7.13 appears.
