Compare Schemas
On some occasions, you might need to compare and synchronize all of your schema-level objects (that is, those owned by a schema, and not by the database or PUBLIC) between two different databases. For example, you might want to compare your development database to a test version to verify that two MOVIES schemas are identical. Thus, you want the exact tables, indexes, sequences, views, procedures, functions, and packages. To complete this task, you want an easy way to compare and sync these schema-level objects. Toad offers the Compare Schemas screen for that purpose.
To launch the Compare Schemas screen, choose Main Menu → Database → Compare → Schemas. The screen shown in Figure 9.29 appears.
