14 CONFIGURING TYPESCRIPT

We’ve dipped into TypeScript’s tsconfig.json configuration file a few times in this book, but now it’s time to take a deeper look. You’ll find a recommended base configuration that includes descriptions of the individual options and then find additional recommendations for different project types. We won’t cover every available option in tsconfig.json since many of them are old and rarely used, but we’ll cover the most important ones.

Recommended Configuration
