Chapter 5Planning: Establishing a Target Condition

Once you have experienced the role a target condition plays in Toyota’s improvement kata, you will find it difficult to work without one. You will also discover how difficult it is to explain what a target condition is and its importance to any manager, engineer, or executive who has not experienced it for themselves.
