Sources of Information*
Information comes in many forms, from many places, some of which are wholly unexpected. It
could be a press release; a speech at a trade show; a business magazine; a yer; the company news-
letter or annual report; a Department of Commerce document about business trends; from television,
newspapers, or radio; from employees within a company; from various web sites (both government
and business); or from a blog on the web. Information is everywhere.
As you read this, be very aware that what is covered in this chapter is most assuredly happen-
ing today in the United States. And such information collection will continue ...
