Simon's story

 

 

 

I have chosen Simon's story as my first case study because he was the only male in Group 2 and I wanted to consider gender differences in the experience of change (although, as it turned out, there were no significant gender differences visible). 1 He was also one of only three students who took the personal rather than the professional development route through the programme (see Chapter 1) and I wanted to compare the impact of the different routes (see Chapter 11).
