Block Transmission Techniques

This chapter describes block transmission techniques combined with frequency-domain implementations that are suitable for high rate transmission over severely time-dispersive channels. These techniques include OFDM, selected for DVB-T, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and 3GPP LTE, as well as SC-FDE, also considered for 3GPP LTE.
