This chapter presents four troubleshooting cases (tickets) at TINC Garbage Disposal, a fictitious company, based on the topology shown in Figure 7-1. TINC has hired SECHNIK Networking for technical support. As employees of SECHNIK, we need to solve all problems reported by the customer (TINC Garbage Disposal) and document them. Each troubleshooting case includes a few configuration errors. Configuration errors will be dealt with as real-world troubleshooting scenarios. Certain technologies are explained briefly to refresh your memory.
