20The Project Postmortem
The project cycle postmortem follows the same principles as the launch postmortem described in Chapter 15, so reread section 15.1 now and also reread it each time you prepare for a postmortem. TSP teams should hold a postmortem right before they relaunch the next project cycle. They should also hold another postmortem at the end of the job. The postmortem provides the data teams need to capitalize on their experiences, to improve their performance on this project, and to do better work on future projects.
