I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Audio Players
Now that you know how to rip your audio CDs and encode them to space-saving MP3 and Ogg Vorbis files, you need to use another application to play them. Fortunately, this is an area where Linux shines, as there is quite a selection of audio players available, one of which I will discuss here.
Rhythmbox
The default audio player in Ubuntu is called Rhythmbox (see Figure 15-4). Rhythmbox, using Sound Juicer as its ripper/encoder, seems to function pretty much like a simplified version of Apple's iTunes application, though, for better or worse, iTunes it is not.
