Advice before you begin your practice

As you become more aware of body language, remember the following useful advice:

  1. People who know you, whether they know it or not, have invested time and effort in understanding you as you have been and as you are now. Wheni you begin to develop some of the skills covered in this book your behaviour will change. Not only will this surprise other people but they will have to get to know you again, and as a result attempts will be made to keep you like your old self.
