It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

To use this book’s companion CD-ROM, you need a computer equipped with the following minimum configuration:
Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, or Windows XP
1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
1 GB of system memory
A hard disk partition with at least 1 GB of available space
Support for DirectX 9 graphics and 32 MB of graphics memory
