The Contemporary Value Chain Model
The discussion that follows will explain our rationale and elements of a revised value chain model, one we believe is more consistent with the demands and challenges of business as we begin our journey into the 21st century. The model is designed to integrate existing thinking from various fields and to fill in the gaps we see in the Porter model (see Figure 1.2).
