So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER 2FADED GIANT—REVISITED
In October 1966, the U.S. secretary of defense announced that the Air Force had selected Dr. Edward U. Condon and the University of Colorado for the UFO research contract. Also in October 1966, Lieutenant Frederick Meiwald and I became certified as a missile combat crew. We received a Highly Qualified rating during our qualification check. Of course, at that time we had no idea there would be a nexus between our crew and the Condon Committee Investigation.
