So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
11. Creating Charts
This chapter will show you how to insert and modify charts. It will also introduce you to a new type of mini-chart called sparklines.
Charts are a great way to graphically portray data. They’re a quick and simple way to emphasize trends in data. People prefer to look at them instead of trying to make sense of rows and columns of numbers. This chapter will show you how to create charts to supplement your data reports.
Excel’s charting abilities discussed in this chapter are also available in Excel Starter. The Web App doesn’t allow new charts to be inserted, but updating existing data, or, if the data is in a Table, adding new rows or columns will update any linked charts.
