How old is that radio set?
It is possible to make a fairly accurate estimate of the age of a radio set by taking a close look at the dial, because over the years the wavelengths and names of various stations were changed several times. Although the exact dates of the alterations are known, there is an inevitable time gap before all the sets being produced were fitted with appropriately marked dials.
