Ventures in Home Décor
Moms and homes go together, so what better place to look for a business idea than around your home? While you may not be a decorator, there are many good choices for business ventures that you can create around home décor. Something as simple as arranging bookshelves can be a venture, as we saw with Carolyn Taylor and Taylor Home (Chapter 6), or as involved as designing and implementing landscaping, as Karen Hughan does with her venture Good Gardens (Chapter 7).
