With this chapter, you reached this book’s second half, which is dedicated entirely to fleshing out the details of the vertically integrated architecture (VIA) outlined in Chapter 5. This distinguishes it from the first half, which advocated the need for a different approach. This second part is meant to provide inspiration. After having identified the problems and reflected and argued about them, the focus now shifts to the solutions I propose.
