When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Authors
Catherine D. Henry is a globally renowned expert on the Metaverse and Web3, SVP at Media.Monks and a strategic adviser to boards of directors and executive management teams, shaping how the world's most successful companies will enter, market, and monetize this new media landscape. With an MA in economics and MBA in marketing, Catherine brings over 20 years of experience in investment banking as an institutional investment adviser on frontier technologies. She is a thought leader on global tech megatrends, author of a series of Web3 and Metaverse Intelligence Reports, has lived and worked on four continents, and speaks five languages. She is African American.
Leslie Shannon is a Silicon Valley–based futurist and corporate adviser who focuses on connectivity‐related tech disruptions and opportunities, including developments in robotics, drones, visual analytics, cloud gaming, and especially augmented and virtual reality – the foundations of the metaverse. Leslie has a BA from the University of Virginia, a master's degree from Yale University, and was a five‐time champion on Jeopardy! She is the author of the book Interconnected Realities, a study of the purpose of the metaverse, and does all her daily fitness work in virtual reality.
