Creating Silverlight Projects with Visual Basic 2010

One of the greatest benefits of Microsoft Silverlight is that you can create applications with Visual Basic 2010 the same way you create .NET applications. When you select File, New Project, in the New Project dialog, you have a project templates folder named Silverlight and a number of available project templates, as shown in Figure 39.1.

The project template for general purposes is the Silverlight Application. Ensure this is selected and then follow these steps:

1. Leave the project name unchanged, and then click OK
