A Tour of the Generated Project
The Solution Explorer displays all of the different types of elements that are part of the solution. A solution is a grouping of one or more projects. If you are just starting to use Visual Studio .NET most of your solutions are probably going to contain just one project. As you become more experienced you may develop many projects as part of one overall solution.
Figure 2.2 shows this solution contains one project. You can create another project and add it to this solution by selecting File, Add Project, New Project.
