6. Handling Notifications

Most apps that receive new data or deal with time-sensitive information want to let you know. That’s what notifications are for. They’re little messages appearing on your screen to tell you what’s new. You can tap on a notification to go to the appropriate app and manage the data.

Lots of apps want to send you notifications. While you might want some of them, you can modify your iPhone’s settings to only get the notifications from the apps you want. You can also adjust the style of notification you receive.
