Chapter 6. Integrating VMware View and Workspace
This chapter describes the integration between VMware View and VMware Workspace. Both solutions are autonomous and work well on their own. The strength of the VMware portfolio is the phenomenal integration it has done between each product. Once configured, you would believe from a user standpoint that it’s one seamless solution and was purpose built for this, when in reality, they are two totally different solutions. This chapter covers the proper planning and the required steps to follow to deploy and integrate both solutions. We cover the workflow shown in Figure 6.1.
