Measuring wellbeing

As mentioned in the book’s Introduction, and it is not an exaggeration to say, that the aim for occupant wellbeing is the highest value output of a project. That it may on occasions conflict with the perceived wellbeing of other people beyond the space demise, such as an investor, developer, the neighbours or local society is an example of wrong thinking and unwise approaches. The fact we are living in a society whose economy is built on making money from customers’ ill-being will cause problems in our aim to achieve full wellbeing support for our occupants, but it is the right aim.
