So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How This Book Is Organized
Chapter 1: General Purpose Utilities
Perl is an ideal language for the small but helpful programs for everyday use. Chapter 1 includes scripts for tasks such as currency conversion, generating daily reminders, and finding duplicate files.
