This part addresses the issues that you encounter when taking your wiki world-wide — or at least to the people whom you want to use your wiki. Chapter 9 presents the playbook for attracting users to your wiki. If you are in an organization that can’t use a hosted wiki, we cover that here as well.
Chapters 10 and 11 explain choosing and installing the right wiki engine on your own servers. Chapter 12 explains how to manage a wiki, and Chapter 13 explains how to protect one.
Chapter 14, the most technically advanced chapter in the book, explains how to add special features to create a structured wiki — one that can automate tasks and treat wiki pages like records in a database.
