Don’t get too comfortable with your current Microsoft Windows 10 installation. Microsoft says it plans to release two “feature updates” to Windows 10 in 2017. These are full upgrades, delivered at no charge through Windows Update to properly licensed devices running Windows 10.
This accelerated release schedule is a key part of the “Windows as a Service” model for Windows 10, where upgrades arrive far more frequently than before.
