Appendix C. Quick Start for Windows NT 4.0 Users
Although Microsoft Windows 98 users have a steep learning curve when they upgrade to Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, Microsoft NT Workstation 4.0 users do not. They're already familiar with the concepts that take a bit of work for users to understand, including security, NTFS, and user profiles. For that reason, this appendix is briefer than Appendix B.
What you learn in this appendix is how to quickly upgrade your computer so that it's running Windows 2000 Professional. The upgrade instructions are very similar to upgrading from Windows 98.
