Sharing with a Homegroup

If your computer is a member of a homegroup, you can share the entire contents of any of your libraries so that the other members of the homegroup can see and use files in your libraries. Use the following procedure:

1. At the desktop, right-click the network icon in the taskbar and select Open Network and Sharing Center, Homegroup, or you can open the Control Panel and select Choose Homegroup and Sharing Options.

2. Select Change What You’re Sharing with the Homegroup.

3. Set the drop-down list box next to each library name to Shared or Not Shared, as shown in Figure 21.7. When you’re done, click Next and then Finish.
