Environment Preparation for Building Native Code Applications
To build a native code application as a separate project, a developer needs to create an SDK and install it in the appropriate development tools. In order to create an SDK, it is necessary to first build the OS image without support for kernel debugging and KITL. To create a new SDK, follow these steps:
From the main menu in Visual Studio, select Project, and then select Add New SDK. Or, in the menu of the SDK node in Solution Explorer, select Add New SDK.
