It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Windows 7 can do hundreds of tasks in dozens of ways, which means that several thousand things can fail at any given time.
Some problems are easy to fix — if you know how to fix them, that is. For example, one misplaced click on the desktop makes all your icons suddenly vanish. Yet, one more click in the right place puts them all back.
Other problems are far more complex, requiring teams of computer surgeons to diagnose, remedy, and bill accordingly.
