So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How Many Global Catalogs?
Once it has been determined that global catalog servers are required in a location, the next question is how many global catalog servers are required. In most cases, one or two global catalog servers will suffice in each location. Application requirements, such as Exchange Server requirements, may increase the number of global catalog servers required.
Record which domain controllers will be configured as global catalogs.
