Chapter 6. Upgrading to Windows Server 2008

The easiest way to install Windows Server 2008 on a computer and still preserve existing domain information, programs, and computer settings is to perform an upgrade installation. This process is easy for 32-bit member servers and stand-alone servers, but when domain controllers are involved, or you have to change architectures, you need to do some advance planning.
