One of your most important tasks as a Windows Server administrator is configuring and maintaining storage. Increasingly, servers use both physical drives installed internally and virtual disks from attached storage. Whether you work with virtual disks from attached storage or physical disks installed within servers, you must configure the disks for use by choosing a disk partition style and a disk storage type to use.
