Aserver can’t do its fundamental job without a solid and reliable network to support it. The network you’ll support will most likely be an Ethernet network. Ethernet networks use an unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable. There are different categories of Ethernet cable, but the most common ones are Category 5e (Cat5e) and Category 6 (Cat6).
