Chapter 5. Configuring Windows Server 2008

When you set out to work with Windows Server 2008, one of the first things you’ll notice is that the desktop and Start menu are different from previous editions of the Windows operating system. For starters, there’s a new search feature built into the Start menu and you have many new options. If you use Windows Server 2008 as your daily desktop operating system, you might want to install the Desktop Experience feature using the Add Features Wizard.
