Backing Up and Restoring Sites by Using the Operations Page in SharePoint Central Administration
Using the Central Administration Web page is the easiest way to back up WSS 3.0 sites. System administrators usually make this type of backup. Within Central Administration, the Operations page provides an entire category of features called Backup And Restore, as shown in Figure 14-1.
