Chapter 8. Sharing Printers
Printer sharing is one of the original applications for which local area networks (LANs) were invented. The ability to send jobs to printers over the network eliminates the need to purchase multiple, redundant printers and prevents users from having to bother the person who has the printer attached to his or her computer. Microsoft Windows Small Business Server (SBS) 2008 includes all the printer sharing capabilities of Windows Server 2008, as well as incorporating basic printer management capabilities into the Windows SBS Console.
