Add a Windows Vista–Based PC
To add a second Windows Vista–based PC to the new wireless network, turn on the PC. It should have a wireless card installed or a wireless USB adapter. Once the PC is turned on, it should automatically see the new wireless network.
To add a second Windows Vista–based PC, follow these steps:
Turn on the PC, and insert or install, if necessary, the wireless card or wireless adapter.
Position the PC near the wireless router.
Position the pointer over the Network icon in the Notification area of the taskbar. The pop-up will indicate a wireless network is in range. See Figure 5-2.
