What You’ll Do
WordPress widgets enable you to add content to your website sidebars. For example, you can use widgets to display information about yourself or your business, contact details, blog categories, your latest posts, links or buttons to your site feed or external sites, your latest Twitter tweets, a Facebook Like box, images, advertising, and much more.
The biggest advantage to using WordPress widgets is their flexibility. With a little imagination, you can display almost anything you want in your sidebars.
