Automating Entra ID
Up until this point, we’ve focused on using Power Automate as a workflow engine from a user’s perspective. We’ve focused on processing email, posting to SharePoint lists and document libraries, connecting to files and folders, and initiating approval workflows.
In this chapter, we’re going to shift gears away from business application automation and look at Power Automate’s capabilities when it comes to working directly with Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory, AD, or AAD) administration. Entra ID is the identity storage used for applications and services across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
